Ben's growing vocabulary

Benton and Reed got in a little fight today (well, they fight everyday) but this time Ted got upset with them. Ben was crying because Reed hit him, threw his pillow down and then Daddy was angry with him. I was holding him when he said, "I have a hateful brother (sob, sob), he threw my pillow down and pushed my quarter under the fridge (sob, sob), I have a hurtful and hateful brother."

Earlier today he told me that peanut butter sandwiches make him nauseous.

Yesterday he said to Pa, "I am a genius, I know more about bikes than you do."

A few days ago he opened a DVD case where the DVD was missing and he yelled, "Damnit!" (Let's hope he doesn't repeat that one!)

I don't know where he is learning all these words?!

That is awesome. How funny. Isn't it amazing how fast kids learn and what they pick up on? Good luck with that!

What an articulate boy! But then again, he is your child. Not too surprising.

That is hilarious. The other night, we were leaving my folks' house and Sebastian came up with "Mom, my ears are popping!" We have NO idea where he would have picked that one up. We're completely stymied. heh. Gotta love kids. Shows they really listen and retain everything they hear. It also means that we can use this against them later in life ;) " I KNOW you heard me. Don't pretend you didn't!"

hahaha

I was thinking about this post earlier this week when Sebastian started yelling at me "Mom, check this out!!" right before he spun himself around in circles and made himself sick. heh

So, my mom and ME don't seem to be capable of making plans to get together, so let's make a plan, some time in the next couple of weeks. I'll see if we can do it at my folks' house - get the kids together to play, everyone hang out and whatnot. BBQ? Burgers? sammiches? What do you think?
